Fund-raising Credit

Fund-raising Credit:

The fund-raising credit has now been restructured & broken down into an hourly rate of $12.50. This means that four, two hour volunteer shifts will equal the $100 fund-raising credit per family that is charged at registration. In addition to the restructuring it has now been implemented that effective March 15, 2012 - March 14, 2013 any fund-raising volunteer shifts worked will be applied to the 2012/13 hockey season. Any fund-raising volunteer shifts worked after March 15, 2013 will be applied to that upcoming
hockey season 2013/14.

There are more ways available to work off your fund-raising credit, year round options as well options that
will allow families to work off the credit in their own home, on their own time. Below is the detailed information regarding the options available for working off the fund-raising credit.

* Jungles Meat Draw in

Alberta Beach. This runs every second Sunday from 4-6. The dates available are: June 17, July 1, July 15, July 29, August 12, August 26, September 9, September 23, October 7, November 4, November 18, December 2, December 16, December 30.

We require 3 volunteers for each shift & 4 volunteers on July 1 & August 12. If you would like more information or are interested in working a shift please contact Tammy Brent @ (780) 967-2424 or Barb Letendre @ (780) 924-9995.

*OMH will be hosting another season opener night out for the parents of OMH, this will take place either mid October or beginning of November. This event will have several volunteer shifts
available.

*OMH windup for the 2012/13 season will also have volunteer shifts available. Date TBA.

OR

*Home based parties. OMH would like to promote the home based businesses within our community. We need a sub-group of 10-15 people willing to host home based parties. The home based business would be willing to donate a portion of their commission to OMH. The benefit to the home based business is increased party bookings, benefit to the hostess is working off your fund-raising credit on your own time, in your own home, plus the hostess party gift. Benefit to OMH is the portion donated
commission.

You can contact Tammy Brent (780) 967-2424 or Megan Thomson (780) 967-3425, if you have questions regarding the fund-raisers for the 2012/13 Hockey Season.
